GAVCA is a benevolent nonprofit organization established by Dr. Agnes Fortune-Cannon in the United States of America now extended to Liberia as a commitment to advocate & provide numerous humanitarian programs such as vocational training opportunities, equal & quality education, food security, peace building and advocacy for justice and human right and security, promoting and contributing towards sustainable development both locally and internationally. As a non-profit and non-governmental organization, we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of these vulnerable groups by creating business and job opportunities for the Liberian people.
Our Mission And Objectives are to advocate and provide programs and opportunities for children, women and youths in all communities with the need of sustainable programs, farming, changing mindsets, empowering through training, identifying and showcasing their skills and talents, youth against cybercrimes & bullying, peace, justice and human rights and security and other persons of concern in the social economic development of the nation and to eliminate devices that have the propensity to discriminate against vulnerable groups and to bridge the literacy gap amongst vulnerable children, women & youths by providing access to quality education, job opportunities and learning resources to all children, youth, & persons in need. We are also dedicated to developing sustainable solutions and programs that promote environmental sustainability and support children, youth, women & other persons of concern in community-based development in Liberia, in partnership with other organizations and institutions. We recognize the enormous responsibilities imposed upon us to meaningfully contribute to the forward mobility of all children, women & youths and other persons of concern irrespective of their geographical locations. We pledge to uphold these values and work towards achieving our goals for the betterment of all vulnerable in Liberia and around the world.
